Zzz....so sianz...

25 March 2006

I wonder if visiting state-owned clinics/hospitals in foreign countries are as tedious as the ones in Singapore.

I waited 2 hours at Yishun Polyclinic just to get a referral to see an eye specialist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Waited another 2 hours at Tan Tock Seng Hospital just to get a bottle of eyedrops and a tube of eyecream.

Total medical fee paid:
$8 for that referral from Yishun Polyclinic,
$20 for eye specialist consultation,
$9.65 for the eyedrops and eyecream.

Ok lar...its quite inexpensive but the waiting time is really killing me. 4 hours just for some eyedrops and eyecream. Do you have to wait that long too in foreign state-owned clinics/hospitals? Or am I complaining too much? Maybe we need to employ more foreign doctors instead of Bangladeshi lads.

Anyway, I went back for medical review yesterday and spent another 2 hours waiting to be attended. This time its even more chop chop.

Doctor: Ok..your eyes are getting better but continue to apply the eyedrops and eyecream.

Me: Ok.

Doctor: Take your appointment card and go to Counter 8 to make an appointment. I'll see you again next week.

Me: Huh??? Still must come back?

Doctor: Ya, they are not completely healed so you have to come back again.

Me: ........

Doctor: Do you need MC?

Me: No need.

Doctor: Ok, I'll see you next week.

Paid another $20 for those golden words.

Since its a Friday and the day was still young, I decided to go roam abit and wait for people to jio me out. But where can I go? Aiyah..since so near Orchard then might as well go there see what's so fascinating about town. Skally later got people call and say wanna meet at town.

Took a train from Novena and dropped at Orchard station. The moment I stepped out of the train I nearly got suffocated. The whole damn station was SO BLOODY PACKED!!! Wah lanz...got gold to pick izzit? Why!!! Why izzit always so PACKED!!!

"I need air", I thought. So I took the nearest escalator out of the station and I felt so relieved~ Just like that first puff in the morning~

So here I am, in the middle of town, where the rich and famous gather to celebrate and show off their wealth and glory. I'm not rich nor famous so I wonder what can I do in town. Saw Borders and decided to head that direction and thought maybe I'd run into Colin and he might gimme a lift home or go Geylang eat claypot rice.

This is my cannot-recall how many times visit to Borders but I never really Bother about the books or magazines there as I'm not really interested with reading. But you know what? After watching fascinating Discovery Channel all these years, I developed this urge to search fer the truth.

I'm a non-fiction person. I wanna know about the truth the only truth and nothing but the truth!

I wanted to buy a book about 三十六计 but amazingly, there wasn't any chinese publication! People here must be all eat kantang one....The best replica I can find is 36 Stratagem in Business but I was taken aback by the price. $48 bux for a paperback, 1cm thick book.

ARE YOU NUTS?!?!?!?!? $48 can eat alot of Muddy Mud Pie or many bowls of Kway Chup ok!!!

Obviously I didn't buy lar, and decided to leave that sad sad expensive jiak kantang place when something caught my attention. YES!! Jiu see LEE(就是你)!! My most beloved and respected Mister Lee Kuan Yew!!! I've always wanted to read about his fight for independance and what made him cry like a baby on that day we left Malaysia.

This is the second book I ever bought, can you believe it? The first was The Little Prince wahahahaha....

I bought it ok, I didn't shoplift it...how can someone shoplift such a huge book?

Cool...Now I'll have something to do at home when everybody is busy with they, them and themselves.

After getting that book, I head off to meet Wong at Bishan for a drink. We met up at Olio Dome with 30 to 40 little Wong Fei Hong learning Wushu right infront of us. I would say almost all didn't really show interest in becoming the next Jet Li or Michelle Yeow. They threw punches and kicks half heartedly, at least thats what I thought.

Hur hur ha hee!!

WAHHHHHH HAHHHHH!!

Meditation and relaxation time.

With that in mind, I asked Wong something...

Me: Why would parents send their kids here to learn Wushu at this hour(9pm)?

Wong: Healthy workout for the kids lor...

Me: I don't think thats the reason all the parents have in mind.

Wong: No meh? Then what? To fend off bullies at school?

Me: No lar...so that the parents can have their own time at home without the kids around to bother them. They might wanna fuck on the dining table or mom might wanna give dad a blowjob when he's doing the dishes etc etc.

Wong: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....I think that girl at the next table just gave you a disgusted look....

Me: Maybe she's one who likes to blow her man infront of the kids.

Wong: HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA....YOU ARE FUCKING JIALAT...HAHAHAHAHA....

SWEE~ I'll start wearing scarlet red underwear with inverted triangles on it from now on~
As some of you might already know, that I hated the idea of going to town. Why? Because it is always packed with boliao people, boliao people from all over Singapore, hoping that by going to town would make them IN.

When jiaos called me at 7pm last Saturday, I was at Balestier (on bus 167) reaching Novena Square. And guess what time I reached Plaza Singapura? 7.45pm!!!! What was the reason? Everybody is rushing into town because they wanna tell their friends "Hey, I'm always in town and I feel so IN!".

FUCK.

Jiaos and the rest of the gang were all there waiting for me and I felt bad to be the last to reach (felt bad is only a figure of speech here hurhur..) Cafe Cartel is ok if you're only having coffee there. Their makan sux, BIG TIME!!

I ordered Hawaiian Pork Chop and I believe the pigs in Hawaii live a ripe old age before Hawaiians slaughter it and put it on their menu. THE MEAT WAS SO FUCKING TOUGH!! TOUGHER THAN THAT PA BUAY SEE RAMBO!!! Should've just given our money to Fish & Co. Reason why I didn't wanna go Fish & Co. was because there was nothing else for us to do at Park Mall and I didn't wanna walk from Park Mall to Plaza Singapura just to have a cuppa coffee.

But we still did.

After dinner, we proceed on to Coffee Club Hotel Rendevous to have our coffees and desserts, despite the fact that Starfucks and TCC were just a whisker away.

Duh.

But I'm glad we did lar...cos it was definitely more cosy and comfortable than settling at Starfucks. I had Ice Earl Vanilla and jiaos had Rambutan Freeze or something like that. Wonder why is he always having that. Maybe he enjoyed having his rambutans frozen.

We ordered pastries (New York Cheese Cake, Muddy Mud Pie and Strawberry Shortcake) and it was shared among all 6 of us. This must be a new experience for Christina, since she RARELY share things with others other than the one who savour her saliva. I hope she enjoyed it cos we're definitely gonna share alot more things in the future than just pastries hurhur...

Nan and Ivy started their palmology things on us and everyone got really interested, except jiaos (he always like to act cool wat that fucker). I was told that my palm was unreadable as the lines on my palm were very different from those in the text book.

Now I'm sure I'm from MARS.

Since jiaos was pretty bored, he started playing with my phone and took pictures of the girls which caused some displease haha....

luckily Christina didn't jump onto my aircraft carrier else she sure die of high blood pressure cos I'm definitely more playful than her current sampan heh...

We should really do this more often...this reminds me of scenes in the show "百分百感觉"...so fun~ So can we please please please have more such gatherings? But can we not meet at places like this?!?!

14 March 2006

First, it was Singapore Idol then 绝对 Superstar then 校园 Superstar then 超级主持人 then 明星偶像 then 绝对 Superband then now its 青苹果 Superstar. What will be next? 你老母卡好 Superstar? Fuck lar...its damn lame can?

These people are damn good at imitating others. Fucking cheebye...one look and you'll know which show they are imitating...but why this?

Because it is sibei ho tan!! Of cos ho tan..just look at those stupid cheebyes calling in to support their so call cheebye Superstars. I don't know how much one call cost but it is definitely more ex than me calling and asking Thaksin how is Thailand doing.

Imagine the money they made these days with all those dial-your-cheebye-idols-numbers-to-show-your-support-so-that-they-can-cut-one-album-and-then-call-it-a-day-and-go-back-to-their-fucking-warehouse-and-continue-to-be-cargohang(or better known as warehouse assistant)-or-help-their-mother-to-con-auntie's-money.

So what is next after becoming an idol? Nothing lor...maybe cut one or two album, shoot one or two stupid tcs dramas, star in one or two Mcdonald's tv ads, fuck one or two girls with angkong all over her and that's about it. Wanna be like Kelly Clarkson? Wanna be like Clay Aiken? Wait long long ok...you can't even be like William Hung. People got that kinda market in States, you have or not? So what is the rationale behind this competition?

Its for the organiser to make money lar...you think they make big money by selling those pathetic CDs they produced? Newspaper said Mister "Daredevil" sold 30 thousand debut copies. God knows where they got that figure from and God knows how many copies were bought by Mister "Daredevil" himself.

And I read on today's newspaper that no one wants to sponsor Mister "Daredevil's" concert and the organisers said that its pathetic that locals don't support locals. Locals of cos support locals...but they only support 1 local and he is none other than Mister Yusoff Bin Ishak. Of cos no one wants to sponsor lar...who the fuck wanna 过不去 with $$$$$$$$?? People also know its a waste money being the sponsors thats why no one wants to sponsor. What seems to be the problem here? The problem here is YOU GOT NO MARKET LAR...wanna make it big you have to try your luck elsewhere like Taiwan or Hongkong.

But you think whole street filled with Stefanie Sun or Lin Jun Jie? Of cos not!! So chances of making it big is 微乎其微 (or better known as 慢慢等)but these cheebyes are just so stupid to think they have the qualities and X-factors to be the next Stefanie Sun. Anyway, you really think those judges know what the fuck is singing talent?

One is a Lao Goh with some stupid radio station and her closest singing encounter is singing the National Anthem during assembly in her secondary school. So tell me, do you think she knows how to judge if someone has singing capability?

Another one is a morpeng fatass from a failure band call 梦肥床 or something like that. If he's that good then he should be cutting albums as of today and not act in some stupid soap opera that featured him selling fishballs. Look at Aerosmith. THAT IS CALL GOOD!! Look at U2. THAT IS CALL GOOD!! At least 梁文福 and his 新谣 bunch achieved something. They started our own brand of singing style. They started a revolution!

Wake up dey, all you stupid motherfuckers. They produce this kinda dumb fuck programs just to con you and your stupid kid's money. So can anyone tell me, what is the moral of this entry?

TO BE SUCCESSFUL HERE, YOU HAVE TO FEED YOUR ETHICS TO THE DOGS AND CON THE FUCK OUT OF THE DUMB MOTHERFUCKERS BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES, COS THERE ARE REALLY ALOT OF DUMB MOTHERFUCKERS OUT THERE WHO ARE SO GENEROUS.

05 March 2006

Are sundays supposed to be this bored? ITS DAMN FUCKING BORING, CAN!! Anybody free for a drink at Hotel Intercontinental?

I love the ambience and atmosphere there, not to mention those fabulous couches and pretty waitresses in cheongsum with nice long legs to look at hurhur...

Drinks are not cheap though, going at $13+++ per serving. But fuck lor, if you consider the fact that you are able to smoke in air-conditioned place with nice nice cheongsum waitresses serving you, $13+++ is nothing!! Somemore got Richard Clayderman playing piano for you, what else can you ask for man!! So song!! So relax~

If you are hungry but not willing to pay for those expensive pastries, wadaya know? Parco Bugis Junction is just next door! You can always go to the foodcourt at basement 1 to get some Takopochi!! Finish your Takopochi and head back to your couch and waste the whole day there wahahahahaha~ And that was what I did last Friday...with my fiancee hurhur...

Image hosting by Photobucket
My fiancee and me~ I think she looks better with glasses...and she love this picture I took so much that she requested me to take a few more....

Image hosting by Photobucket
This was take two.

Image hosting by Photobucket
This was take three.

Image hosting by Photobucket
This was take four.

Image hosting by Photobucket
This was take advantage Wahahahaha...I kissed her while she was busy posing fer my cam hahahaha...anyway it was just a friend friend kiss so don't anyhow think ya?

Then we moved on to Takashimaya's post office to post some pornotapes to her friend and this was my first time in Takashimaya after dunno how many donkey years. Fuck lor!!! It didn't change much though hurhur...but we didn't really shop around oso...

Since it was still early (after mailing her pornotapes) before I meet Russ, Jenny and Colin for dinner, we decided to go Tangs to get Mrs Field's brownies to makan! Oh man...how I miss Mrs Field's brownies...I used to buy a bag of brownies nibblers before going to my shop in Lucky Plaza...

Was hoping to see Image hosting by Photobucket and ask him help trim my eyebrow but he wasn't around. Must be busy washing his yellow swimming trunk at home and preparing to go for his 2nd audition at Singapore Idol.

We settled down infront of Scotts and ate some brownies nibblers while watching babes and hunks walking hurridly in the streets of Orchard or a warm, Friday evening. Its been a long while since I last spent a day at Orchard doing nothing with someone. Since its a special occasion, of cos must take pictures to store in my memory lar....

Image hosting by Photobucket
as trying to get Lido in the picture as well, but I guess my face was too big for Lido to squeeze in.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Since Lido can't make it in the picture, might as well do without it. Fiancee say I should take pictures from a higher angle so we won't look so fat. I totally agree!

Image hosting by Photobucket
This is like taking the picture from directly below my phone leow...do we look slimmer in this angle?

Image hosting by Photobucket
See what I mean by fat? Fuck...can't even see my neck...

And thats the end of my adventure in Orchard Road after 4 long fucking years! Song bo!! So who wanna be the next to go Hotel Continental with me and lemme take advantage? Hahahaha....

03 March 2006
