The Minority Report

Woke up 7.30 this morning and left home at 8, just to feel that freshness having kway chup early in the morning. Was quite worried that Mr Kway Chup man is still preparing but this worry was not founded hurhur...He's already busy serving customers and was quite surprised to see me this early.

Bought Straits Times to check out if there are any mobile phones on offer. There were none. No, not no offer but no mobile phone advertisements at all. Read about Ah Diang's saga and thought this man is ridiculous. Picture yourself having a stomache and you head to the toilet for a dump. When you are in the toilet, you realise your hands are dirty so you wash it. After washing your hands, you leave the toilet, forgetting the purpose of going to the toilet is to take a dump. Silly isn't it?

It's just my analogy of what Ah Diang did. He went to the Election Department to apply for an indian certificate but after filling his forms, he puts it in his bag without submitting. Why can't he just give it to the employees at the counter after filling in but puts it in his bag? Instead of submitting it, he went on to talk to the journalists. He then leave the premises, with the forms still safely in his bag. I reckon he is a lazy person, without the habit of packing his bag else he would've realise he didn't submit his forms when he got home. Is it really a true adminstrative error on Ah Diang's side?

To err is human. To forgive, divine. Right. We should just forgive him if its really an error. My question is, is it really an error? His chairman knew he is contesting for Aljunied GRC where they only need a Malay minority certificate and not an Indian minority certificate, so why is he applying for one? For fun ar? Can you trust a party that recruit kucheng kurak people or ask kucheng kurak people to do kucheng kurak things? Birds of a feather, flock together. 上梁不正下梁歪,下梁不正早晚拖垮整个结构。What I'm trying to say is, if you have a blacksheep in your organisation, he/she is gonna bring down the whole organisation someday. Look at what has happened to SDP, thanks to another Ah Diang.

Come on lar...if you want to hear second opinion or want someone to check on the government, find someone who is of better qualities and standards. Don't just pick the durian with the least worms among all the rotten durians. Unless you are so hard up to eat durian just because you WANT TO HAVE durians and not because GOOD DURIANS are available. And who knows, you might already be sitting in the middle of a D24 durian plantation.

Joline sent me this file and I thought its really funny...so, instead of sending to each and everyone of you, I might as well share it via my blog...ahh...God bless the Internet~~

But she look me down~ and call me Mr. Za~a~~~~~ hahaahahahahahaha...so funny...
You know...sometimes its not that I don't wanna post but I really dunno what to post. No mood no materials no ideas no nothing. I don't wanna talk about things for the sake of talking about it. But there is something I wanna express my views on, when most already stopped discussing about it hehehe....

Lately, everyone is busy talking if Singaporean are really stupid because someone said Singaporean have lousy origins. Its not right to generalise as if Singapore only consist of 1 resident, the person who said this is just stereotyping. But I do agree that some Singaporean, not most, are stupid. Like what 李国煌 said on TV the other night, some Singaporean donated pek kim (白金) to foreigners who died on local soil and wanna know where will these pek kim go when they realise that amount is rather huge.

Well, the way that I see it is, no one force those idiots to donate in the first place .So even if the victim's family use that money to build big houses in their kampung or return debts or install gold taps in their office, its none of those idiots problem. Sounds familiar?

My question is, why those idiots wanna donate in the first place? Out of sympathy? Sympathise what? They don't bother to find out who they giving money to and just gave blindly. Now those idiots question who is gonna take that money and what are they gonna do with it when those idiots learnt from the newspaper that the amount is relatively big. If newspaper reported that its only 1k plus, do you think those idiots will still be so eager about it?

Now money already donate out then those idiot worry who and what are they gonna do with it, abit late rite? You ever give money to beggars or buy tissue paper from ah pek or ah ma then ask them what they gonna do with that money you gave them? No right? Then why should these idiots ask what the family is gonna do with that pek kim (白金) now just because those idiots didn't expect it to be so much? Just because those idiots didn't have that much pek kim (白金) when their ah gong ah ma die so they jealous that some people got so much more pek kim (白金) than they themselves and they buay gum wan?

FUCK YOU DEEP DEEP UNDERSTAND!!! NO ONE FORCE OR MAKE YOU DONATE IN THE FIRST PLACE!! ITS YOU DUMB CHEEBYES WHO MISUSED YOUR SYMPATHY AND NOW YOU WANT ANSWERS FOR YOUR STUPIDITY!!

Ok...so tell me, what is the moral of this entry? Money put pocket sio sio is the best leow...if wanna take out and give to less fortunate then better make sure they are more chum than you. Don't come and kao peh kao bu later on when you realise his/her lao peh lao bu is so much richer than you.

Zzz....so sianz...

25 March 2006

I wonder if visiting state-owned clinics/hospitals in foreign countries are as tedious as the ones in Singapore.

I waited 2 hours at Yishun Polyclinic just to get a referral to see an eye specialist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Waited another 2 hours at Tan Tock Seng Hospital just to get a bottle of eyedrops and a tube of eyecream.

Total medical fee paid:
$8 for that referral from Yishun Polyclinic,
$20 for eye specialist consultation,
$9.65 for the eyedrops and eyecream.

Ok lar...its quite inexpensive but the waiting time is really killing me. 4 hours just for some eyedrops and eyecream. Do you have to wait that long too in foreign state-owned clinics/hospitals? Or am I complaining too much? Maybe we need to employ more foreign doctors instead of Bangladeshi lads.

Anyway, I went back for medical review yesterday and spent another 2 hours waiting to be attended. This time its even more chop chop.

Doctor: Ok..your eyes are getting better but continue to apply the eyedrops and eyecream.

Me: Ok.

Doctor: Take your appointment card and go to Counter 8 to make an appointment. I'll see you again next week.

Me: Huh??? Still must come back?

Doctor: Ya, they are not completely healed so you have to come back again.

Me: ........

Doctor: Do you need MC?

Me: No need.

Doctor: Ok, I'll see you next week.

Paid another $20 for those golden words.

Since its a Friday and the day was still young, I decided to go roam abit and wait for people to jio me out. But where can I go? Aiyah..since so near Orchard then might as well go there see what's so fascinating about town. Skally later got people call and say wanna meet at town.

Took a train from Novena and dropped at Orchard station. The moment I stepped out of the train I nearly got suffocated. The whole damn station was SO BLOODY PACKED!!! Wah lanz...got gold to pick izzit? Why!!! Why izzit always so PACKED!!!

"I need air", I thought. So I took the nearest escalator out of the station and I felt so relieved~ Just like that first puff in the morning~

So here I am, in the middle of town, where the rich and famous gather to celebrate and show off their wealth and glory. I'm not rich nor famous so I wonder what can I do in town. Saw Borders and decided to head that direction and thought maybe I'd run into Colin and he might gimme a lift home or go Geylang eat claypot rice.

This is my cannot-recall how many times visit to Borders but I never really Bother about the books or magazines there as I'm not really interested with reading. But you know what? After watching fascinating Discovery Channel all these years, I developed this urge to search fer the truth.

I'm a non-fiction person. I wanna know about the truth the only truth and nothing but the truth!

I wanted to buy a book about 三十六计 but amazingly, there wasn't any chinese publication! People here must be all eat kantang one....The best replica I can find is 36 Stratagem in Business but I was taken aback by the price. $48 bux for a paperback, 1cm thick book.

ARE YOU NUTS?!?!?!?!? $48 can eat alot of Muddy Mud Pie or many bowls of Kway Chup ok!!!

Obviously I didn't buy lar, and decided to leave that sad sad expensive jiak kantang place when something caught my attention. YES!! Jiu see LEE(就是你)!! My most beloved and respected Mister Lee Kuan Yew!!! I've always wanted to read about his fight for independance and what made him cry like a baby on that day we left Malaysia.

This is the second book I ever bought, can you believe it? The first was The Little Prince wahahahaha....

I bought it ok, I didn't shoplift it...how can someone shoplift such a huge book?

Cool...Now I'll have something to do at home when everybody is busy with they, them and themselves.

After getting that book, I head off to meet Wong at Bishan for a drink. We met up at Olio Dome with 30 to 40 little Wong Fei Hong learning Wushu right infront of us. I would say almost all didn't really show interest in becoming the next Jet Li or Michelle Yeow. They threw punches and kicks half heartedly, at least thats what I thought.

Hur hur ha hee!!

WAHHHHHH HAHHHHH!!

Meditation and relaxation time.

With that in mind, I asked Wong something...

Me: Why would parents send their kids here to learn Wushu at this hour(9pm)?

Wong: Healthy workout for the kids lor...

Me: I don't think thats the reason all the parents have in mind.

Wong: No meh? Then what? To fend off bullies at school?

Me: No lar...so that the parents can have their own time at home without the kids around to bother them. They might wanna fuck on the dining table or mom might wanna give dad a blowjob when he's doing the dishes etc etc.

Wong: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....I think that girl at the next table just gave you a disgusted look....

Me: Maybe she's one who likes to blow her man infront of the kids.

Wong: HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA....YOU ARE FUCKING JIALAT...HAHAHAHAHA....
