I wonder if visiting state-owned clinics/hospitals in foreign countries are as tedious as the ones in Singapore.

I waited 2 hours at Yishun Polyclinic just to get a referral to see an eye specialist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Waited another 2 hours at Tan Tock Seng Hospital just to get a bottle of eyedrops and a tube of eyecream.

Total medical fee paid:
$8 for that referral from Yishun Polyclinic,
$20 for eye specialist consultation,
$9.65 for the eyedrops and eyecream.

Ok lar...its quite inexpensive but the waiting time is really killing me. 4 hours just for some eyedrops and eyecream. Do you have to wait that long too in foreign state-owned clinics/hospitals? Or am I complaining too much? Maybe we need to employ more foreign doctors instead of Bangladeshi lads.

Anyway, I went back for medical review yesterday and spent another 2 hours waiting to be attended. This time its even more chop chop.

Doctor: Ok..your eyes are getting better but continue to apply the eyedrops and eyecream.

Me: Ok.

Doctor: Take your appointment card and go to Counter 8 to make an appointment. I'll see you again next week.

Me: Huh??? Still must come back?

Doctor: Ya, they are not completely healed so you have to come back again.

Me: ........

Doctor: Do you need MC?

Me: No need.

Doctor: Ok, I'll see you next week.

Paid another $20 for those golden words.

Since its a Friday and the day was still young, I decided to go roam abit and wait for people to jio me out. But where can I go? Aiyah..since so near Orchard then might as well go there see what's so fascinating about town. Skally later got people call and say wanna meet at town.

Took a train from Novena and dropped at Orchard station. The moment I stepped out of the train I nearly got suffocated. The whole damn station was SO BLOODY PACKED!!! Wah lanz...got gold to pick izzit? Why!!! Why izzit always so PACKED!!!

"I need air", I thought. So I took the nearest escalator out of the station and I felt so relieved~ Just like that first puff in the morning~

So here I am, in the middle of town, where the rich and famous gather to celebrate and show off their wealth and glory. I'm not rich nor famous so I wonder what can I do in town. Saw Borders and decided to head that direction and thought maybe I'd run into Colin and he might gimme a lift home or go Geylang eat claypot rice.

This is my cannot-recall how many times visit to Borders but I never really Bother about the books or magazines there as I'm not really interested with reading. But you know what? After watching fascinating Discovery Channel all these years, I developed this urge to search fer the truth.

I'm a non-fiction person. I wanna know about the truth the only truth and nothing but the truth!

I wanted to buy a book about 三十六计 but amazingly, there wasn't any chinese publication! People here must be all eat kantang one....The best replica I can find is 36 Stratagem in Business but I was taken aback by the price. $48 bux for a paperback, 1cm thick book.

ARE YOU NUTS?!?!?!?!? $48 can eat alot of Muddy Mud Pie or many bowls of Kway Chup ok!!!

Obviously I didn't buy lar, and decided to leave that sad sad expensive jiak kantang place when something caught my attention. YES!! Jiu see LEE(就是你)!! My most beloved and respected Mister Lee Kuan Yew!!! I've always wanted to read about his fight for independance and what made him cry like a baby on that day we left Malaysia.

This is the second book I ever bought, can you believe it? The first was The Little Prince wahahahaha....

I bought it ok, I didn't shoplift it...how can someone shoplift such a huge book?

Cool...Now I'll have something to do at home when everybody is busy with they, them and themselves.

After getting that book, I head off to meet Wong at Bishan for a drink. We met up at Olio Dome with 30 to 40 little Wong Fei Hong learning Wushu right infront of us. I would say almost all didn't really show interest in becoming the next Jet Li or Michelle Yeow. They threw punches and kicks half heartedly, at least thats what I thought.

Hur hur ha hee!!

WAHHHHHH HAHHHHH!!

Meditation and relaxation time.

With that in mind, I asked Wong something...

Me: Why would parents send their kids here to learn Wushu at this hour(9pm)?

Wong: Healthy workout for the kids lor...

Me: I don't think thats the reason all the parents have in mind.

Wong: No meh? Then what? To fend off bullies at school?

Me: No lar...so that the parents can have their own time at home without the kids around to bother them. They might wanna fuck on the dining table or mom might wanna give dad a blowjob when he's doing the dishes etc etc.

Wong: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....I think that girl at the next table just gave you a disgusted look....

Me: Maybe she's one who likes to blow her man infront of the kids.

Wong: HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA....YOU ARE FUCKING JIALAT...HAHAHAHAHA....
